summer fun

Hayley and Tristan have started a camp or club of some sort for all their stuffed animals. The animals sign in each day and do thinks like make crafts and clothes. This has been going on for at least a week and takes up large quantities of time both at home and at the lake.

Tristan's swim lessons are going well. They did a long distance swim today and he kept up pretty well. They also worked on the butterfly stroke and Tristan's butterfly seems to need some serious help!

One of the mama ducks brought three babies to the lake today! So cute.

Back at home Colin and Trevor are still playing runescape and everyone jumps in the pool as needed. The kids gave the ferrets a much needed bath. The hot and humid weather has arrived.
I STILL have a cough which has led to some chest and side pain and a general worn out feeling. The hotter weather made it a little harder to catch my breath when active. It's pretty irritating and frustrating. I can tell my cough is at least starting to get better so that is a relief.

What a fun game with the animals... reminds me of when our girls used to play grocery store and restaurant all the time.

Oh, CUTE about the stuffed animal camp!

I saw a few boys playing Runescape at the library the other day. It looked like it might be fun for my Trevor. I'm glad you mentioned it, because I didn't know if it was OKAY, if you know what I mean.

Jodi, what does the dr. say about your cough? Have you been?

Runescape seems OKAY, there is a chat feature which can have bad words go through but my boys don't use the chat anyway. Lots of HS'ers in this area seem to approve, I believe it's a 13 and up game though yes one of mine that plays isn't 13 but Trevor showed me the site and I appoved it for Colin despite the age.

I didn't go to the doctor for the cough, we have horrible insurance. It seems like the kind of thing which will resolve on it's own given time.
