Historic days in Hillsboro

There was a historic day and re-enactments in Hillsboro. We were able to see native Americans, some revolutionary war re-enactments and Ben Franklin and Mark Twain! There was also a demonstration of falconry.

Lizards, arachnids and insects

As the kids have gotten older their interest have drawn more towards unique animals. This means lizards and arachnids and such. This also means we have to raise bugs for them to eat and make chow for the bugs to eat! It also means learning how to properly light and heat all these unique creatures.  Not always fun but it is educational and the kids enjoy it all.
