Back in early April a friend called to say her dog Kiwi was accidentally expecting puppies. They had tried to breed Kiwi off and on, a purebred boxed dog, but didn't find a suitable male. Then over the winter a rogue Black Labrador type dog was seen in the area and well, the rest is history now. Kiwi gave birth to 4 adorable puppies before and during the Royal Wedding. Our friend said their squeaky noises added an interesting touch to the beautiful wedding music! We were able to go se Kiwi and her newborn puppies that very day, she had other visitors while we were there too. Kiwi was very good about people visiting with her puppies although she let us know when she'd had enough. The pups are the most darling things ever, perhaps not purebred, or even expected but darling nonetheless!

And these below are 2 week old pictures. The puppies have started to open their eyes, are getting quite pudgy and are more adorable than ever!
We are so thankful that we get to see Kiwi's puppies grow and change. Kiwi is a great Mother!
