a March week and Kiwi's pups go from 1-2 weeks old

This past week a lot was about Kiwi's pups. visiting them, watching their development and helping with them. With 12 of them Kiwi really does need help some times and breaks! We also had homeschool group, this time Lego class focussed on transportation and the kids built models with the idea of safely carrying a living load such as people, animals or plants. Drama class they worked on act 1. Colin and Tristan completed the work on the Music merit badge. One requirement was kind of silly though, they needed to make instruments and learn to play them. The links off the merit badge site led to the Kinder Art site and the instruments to make were meant for younger kids, I think. The boys tried to have good humor about it all and made "guitars" and learned a little song on them. We did have some snow, which Comet thoroughly enjoyed playing in. At work I ended up working more than I expected for this late in the season and I had to miss our usual family skiing day. I was dissapointed but Colin said the conditions were slushy and pretty bad...I don't know the warmer weather tends to make me feel ok about the resulting slushy conditions!
